                                            Physician Assistant Sciences- Clinical Education Coordinator

                                            Program Director, MSN/FNP

                                            Saint Francis University invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time program tenured/nontenured, director/faculty position in the University’s Department of Nursing MSN/FNP and Post Master’s FNP Programs.? The Program Director is responsible for the academic, regulatory, and clinical coordination of the MSN/FNP and Post Master’s FNP programs.? Leads the preparation of the self-study for the FNP and Post Master’s FNP part of the self-study, and maintains CCNE accreditation and State Board of Nursing approval, submitting all required documents.? Oversees administrative aspects of the programs.? Coordinates program and curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation of the programs.? Actively recruits preceptors and initiates and maintains communication and correspondence between academic and clinical sites as primary liaison with clinical sites.                                             Requirements include a master’s and doctorate degree in nursing from an accredited institution, or ability to complete a doctoral degree by December 2023; Board Certification as an FNP, unencumbered RN license in PA or eligible for licensure in PA; Unencumbered FNP certification in PA or eligibility for certification in PA; Experience in higher education including teaching. Preference for experience in online and simulation instruction, accreditation, program review and assessment.? Applicant must have knowledge in progression standards in relation to program progression and admission of students (traditional and transfer).? Commitment to prepare FNP students for practice.
