Sitting on Santa's lap and telling him what you want for Christmas is a long-time tradition. On December 7, 2019, children with sensory or other special needs will be able to enjoy the annual tradition with their families—without the bright lights, loud noises, and long lines. Families visit the sensory transition room before visiting Sensitive Santa. Milk and cookies, with the options of gluten or casein-free cookies or soy milk, will be shared with families upon visiting Sensitive Santa. Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their cameras and capture the moment.?

                                            About Your Visit
                                            • We will have a "preparation room" available with an extra Santa suit and a variety of sensory activities. Your child is welcome to come 15 minutes prior to their appointment to spend time touching Santa's suit, rocking on a therapy ball, or even just relaxing.
                                            • Your child will have the option of sitting on Santa's lap, in a chair next to Santa, on a therapy ball, standing, sitting in the ground, or any combination of these during his/her meeting with Santa.
                                            • If your child is non-verbal, we are asking that you provide a few ideas of presents your child may like. This will help Santa engage your child and personalize the visit.
